British Columbia Nanaimo municipal by-election Canada 2017 Results Voting Live

British Columbia Nanaimo municipal by-election Canada 2017 Results Live on 8th July 2017. The City of Nanaimo is conducting a By-Election to fill a vacancy on City Council. To ensure fairness, openness and accessibility local by-elections are conducted in accordance with very strict rules.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, a municipal by-election will be held where City of Nanaimo electors will select one (1) Councillor.
 Are you eligible to vote? Is your name on the current list of electors?


 If you are not sure you are on the “List of Electors”, you can find out starting May 23, 2017, by visiting the election page on the City of Nanaimo website at: http://www.nanaimo.ca/goto/elections or by contacting the Legislative Services Department located on the first floor of City Hall, located at 455 Wallace Street, Nanaimo, BC, or by phone at 250-755-4405.  The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
 
If you are not on the “List of Electors” and wish to register in advance of the election, advance elector registrations will be accepted, starting May 23, 2017 at the City of Nanaimo Legislative Services Department until Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at 4:30 p.m.  With the exception of registrations on voting days, advance elector registrations will not be accepted from June 7 to July 7, 2017.
