A total of 3,054 of 15,174 registered Forrest County voters cast their ballots Tuesday, along with 59 of 579 eligible voters in Lamar County.

McGee received 2,107 votes to Rehner's 1,000. There were four write-in votes.  Both candidates ran as independents.
