New York Bronx Mayoral Municipal General Election Date – 12th September 2017

Run Off Election if required on 7th November 2017

Bronx County in New York will hold a general election for borough president on November 7, 2017. Bronx County is also known as the Borough of Bronx. New York allows cross-filing, which means candidates may file to run on multiple party tickets. New York City is also holding elections for mayor, city council, and other city officials in 2017.
A primary election will be held for the three Democratic candidates on September 12, 2017. Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. is running as a Democratic and Working Families Party candidate. Camella Price, who also filed under the Reform Party, and Avery Selkridge are challenging Diaz in the Democratic primary. Republican candidate Steven DeMartis and Conservative Party candidate Antonio Vitiello are also running in the general election
