A special election for the position of Tennessee House of Representatives District 95 was called for June 15, 2017.
The seat is vacant following Mark Lovell's (R) resignation.
Julie Byrd Ashworth ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Kevin Vaughan defeated Joseph Aaron Crone, Gail Williams Horner, Curtis D. Loynachan, Missy Marshall, Billy Patton, and Frank Uhlhorn in the Republican primary. Robert Schutt and Jim Tomasik are running as independent candidates.
Ashworth, Vaughan, Schutt, and Tomasik will be there in the run off on June 15 general election
