Los Angeles California Mayoral Municipal elections 2017 Results Live Voting

The 2017 California mayoral election will take place on May 16, 2017.

The city of Los Angeles California, will hold a general election for Districts 1 and 7 on its city council on May 16, 2017. The general election for these seats is necessary after no candidate in those races won a majority (50 percent plus one) of the primary votes cast on March 7, 2017. Results reporting in these races can take several days as a significant portion of ballots are cast by mail. Initial outcomes reported here may change as results are finalized.

  7. Hosemann says about 1.8 million Mississippians are registered voters, but only about a third actually vote. He says before polls open on Tuesday, people should learn more about the candidates in order to make an informed decision

Two open seats on the Plano City Council and six city bond propositions headlined the city's general election on May 6, 2017. Races in which no candidate won a majority (50 percent plus one vote) advanced to a runoff election on June 10, 2017. Kayci Prince won the Place 4 race to replace Lissa Smith, while Anthony Ricciardelli and Ann Bacchus advanced to the runoff to replace Ben Harris in Place 2. Smith and Harris reached the two-term limit established in Section 3.01 of the city's charter. Mayor Harry LaRosiliere won re-election against three challengers and Place 8 incumbent David Downs faces Rick Smith in the runoff election.
