  • Nice attack is clearly a terrorist act: Francois Hollande: French President Francois Hollande said Friday that an attack which saw a truck plough into a crowd in Nice, killing 77 people, was clearly a "terrorist" act.

    Hollande said several children were among the dead and 20 victims were in a critical state after the attack, which he said was of an "undeniable terrorist nature".

  • US President Barack Obama on Thursday strongly condemned what he said appeared to be a "horrific terrorist attack" in Nice.Obama offered assistance to France to help investigate the attack, which left at least 75 people dead, and "bring those responsible to justice."
