  1. Trump tweeted at 5:30am US eastern time,and claimed a “new low” before appearing to call Obama a “bad (or sick) guy”.
  2. Trump wrote in his tweets “How low has President Obama gone to tap my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!”
  3. He later added: “Is it legal for a sitting President to be “wire tapping” a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!”

    I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!

A total of 66 percent of Democrats are very concerned with it, as are 32 percent of Republicans and 41 percent of independents, according to the survey. Further, 65 percent of Democrats said that the “prestige” of the country would be hurt by his election, as did 19 percent and 29 percent of Republicans and independents, respectively.
