Donald Trump Vice President Candidate 2016: VP names Newt Gingrich, Chris Christie, Who is Donald Trump's Vice President

1. Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is likely to pick Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate, media reports.There was no word from the Trump campaign yet.
2. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie top Donald Trump's short list to be his vice presidential running mate.
3. With less than three weeks to go for formal nomination at the Republican National Convention as the party's candidate in the Nov. 8 election, Trump's has to find a VP candidate before that. Republican National Convention is on July 18-21 
4. Trump is also meeting Governor Pence this weekend.
5.  "Mr. Trump is meeting with a number of Republican leaders in the run-up to the convention in Cleveland, and he has a good relationship with Gov. Pence," Trump spokesman Jason Miller said in an email response to a question from Reuters 
6. New Jersey Governor Christie, 53 quickly endorsed Trump after quitting the race early this year. He emerged as a key adviser to Trump and his campaign team. 
7. Trump has shortlisted 4 – 7 candidates till now and VP would likely be announced at the convention.
8. Jeff Sessions and Bob Corker, though Corker has been critical of Trump recently. NBC News’s Katy O’Donnell also reports that Trump is meeting with Governor Mike Pence of Indiana this weekend
