The 2017 Texas El Paso District 8 election Run off will take place on 15 July, 2017.
El Paso County will hold an election for the Districts 1 and 7 seats on the El Paso Community College Board of Trustees on May 6, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 17, 2017

- Election Day – Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Early voting period will be from Wednesday, June 28, 2017 through Tuesday, July 11, 2017.

District 2 – Jim Tolbert & Alexsandra Annello
District 3– Jaime Barceleau & Cassandra Hernandez-Brown
District 4 – Shane Haggerty & Sam Morgan
In the mayoral race, incumbent Jeff Williams will face challenger Chris Dobson. Districts 3, 4, 5, and 8 on the city council are up for election. District 3 is the only open race, with four candidates seeking to replace incumbent Robert Rivera. Incumbent Kathryn Wilemon will face Teresa Rushing in District 4, Matthew Powers and Dakota Loupe are challenging incumbent Lana Wolff in District 5, and incumbent Michael Glaspie will face Ghulam Sumdani in District 8
Results would be announced on 6th May 2017 after voting gets completed. A runoff election, if necessary, will be held on June 10, 2017
