Texas Plano Mayoral Municipal elections 2017 Voting Results Live
Two open seats on the Plano City Council and six city bond propositions headlined the city's general election on May 6, 2017. Races in which no candidate won a majority (50 percent plus one vote) advanced to a runoff election on June 10, 2017. Kayci Prince won the Place 4 race to replace Lissa Smith, while Anthony Ricciardelli and Ann Bacchus advanced to the runoff to replace Ben Harris in Place 2. Smith and Harris reached the two-term limit established in Section 3.01 of the city's charter. Mayor Harry LaRosiliere won re-election against three challengers and Place 8 incumbent David Downs faces Rick Smith in the runoff election.
